Some observations

I have a simple observation - I just don't blog that much I don't feel that I have much to say about things. I have tried in the past to be witty, critical, mystical, magnificant and I don't do any well. So I made some changes I have decided to just make simple observations about things that make me pause to think so I changed the name of my blog to reflect what I think I will do more often.

Things in these crazy times can be so simple if you let them just be simple as an example I have observed a whole bunch of people running around trying to save their own job, but did not do anything for their employees and you know what I kind of think that is the correct thing to do. Now before you go off the deep end keep in mind that in every job I can think of everyone wants to be the one who comes out on top (or at least does not want to be the last one out) and that being the case if your company has laid you off or gone under or has done nothing illegal with the TARP funds and you are upset over the way they have handled themselves then take your knowledge go into business for yourself and start a business. Give them some competion. Do you realize that econmically speaking every recession or depression has caused more growth in industry over the 5 years following the start of the slide and many of those company's maintained existence for the next 15. All this despite the governments attempts to fix things (folks they fix nothing).

So here is my simple observation - if you are complaning about your company doing stupid things and you got the shaft 1, 2, or even 5 years from retirement I am with you try to get as much money from the company as you can shore up your own savings and be responsible for your self, but honestly most of you would retire around 55-65 depending and would not be able to sit at home with nothing to do for more than a year anyways so get out there and get a job or start a business. For all you people my age or younger quit your bitchin and do the same who cares about the stock market now. I watch my 401k go down down down and you know what in 30 years when I retire I will care, but now why? It's not like I can take the money out and avoid a 10% tax and additonal bank penalties. Go on with your life and hold the politicans accountable in 2010 for bailing out these companies and making $1 Trillion dollars appear out of thin air becuase clearly they are not respenting our interests.

These are my new simple observations.
