New Shoes!

I am proud to announce that I have officially bought new shoes. As a milestone it may not impress many people, but this equates to about a pair of year and this is my third year running. This is not a decision I take lightly and I am not sure I did not make an impulsive decision. For the last two sets of shoes I went to a running store and bought shoes the correct way. I my old shoes were evaluated, I would check my stance for pressure points, and hotspots, etc. Well, today I got so excited I spend three days reading reviews online about different running shoes, brands and customer reviews, etc. The shoes have been officially bought and now I have buyers remorse. They are the right size, but I think they are too narrow, and their too tight, and the laces are too short and they are a brand new color that I do not ordinarily wear! I know I know what you are thinking  their brand new and I have only wore them once so don't panic.

OK, OK, I'll give them a chance and wear them for a few more miles and see how they work out. Oh and in case your wondering here is what I bought...

Notice the new fun color -charcoal gray and blue - coming from a guy who has only bought white shoes for years (and years) this is a big deal.

P.S. My beautiful wife agreed that if the shoes don't work out I can go to my running store and get fitted correctly! Thanks Babe!
